We’ll be doing 4 sets. The first three are 1. Vicki 2. Tim 3. Scott & Tyler then a 4th set, where Vicki, Tim, Scott, and Tyler are invited to work something out on the spot. They are also free to invite any audience members who brought their music to join in as well.
Vicki Taylor: (solo)
Vicki is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. She’s a member of the Motherfolkers – the most carefully pronounced band name in show biz! She’s graced the Colorado music scene for many years, as a fiddler, guitarist, and pianist. Her interests are blues, jazz and New Orleans style piano. Vicki has spent many years on the stage and almost forty years as a music teacher most recently at the Swallow Hill Music Association. (words lifted from mother-folkers.com)
Tim Ostdiek (Solo & with Scott)
Tim is a playful, uplifting, and engaging singer, songwriter and performer. He writes feel-good, big-hearted folk with a drop of something funky. With hopeful and purposeful songs, Ostdiek doesn’t shy from the deep and heavy. A tasteful and dynamic guitarist, Ostdiek often fits fingerpicking, strumming, and lead elements into one song. Whether in a concert hall, club, brewery, or living room, Ostdiek always reaches the hearts of his listeners and sends them out a little brighter than they came in. His songwriting has garnered accolades such as honorable mention in the Telluride Troubadour and finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. His song “Goodbye” was featured in the PBS show Roadtrip Nation. Ostdiek has opened for some of the nation’s best singer/songwriters, such as Sarah Jarosz and Steve Forbert. and played several prominent Colorado venues such as Swallow Hill. Ostdiek is an important figure in the Longmont, CO, music scene, hosting a weekly open mic/jam and a monthly songwriting group. He plays upwards of 150 shows a year.
Scott Ramsaur (duo with Tyler)
Scott is a local Colorado artist who’s music is influenced by roots and southern soul, but has a modern “indie rock” feel. Instr. Guitar, mandolin, banjo. He is a powerful force on stage, bringing original songs, amazing vocals, and fantastic instrumentation everywhere he goes. He’s deeply involved in the local scene, and a positive voice of encouragement for other musicians.
Tyler Rennix (duo with Scott)
Tyler Rennix is a Multi-instrumentalist who specializes in bluegrass music. Mandolin, Guitar, Fiddle, and Bass. Tyler performs with Foxfeather part time, has a solo act he takes on the road, and teaches music in Longmont. Oh, and he took 1st place in the 2015 Rockygrass Mandolin competition.

We will be potlucking and byob-ing as usual. Help us make the potluck special by bringing something homemade and great! The house will be providing some roast/smoked beast and a big salad.
BRING enough beverages for you and your crew!

Parking on Stuart is highly recommended. It helps us keep a low profile and disperses parking impact. Carpool! Uber! Lyft!

Please leave your dog at home. It’s too crowded and crazy.
Kids? If they can sit and listen during the music, they are welcome to come. It is an adult event, so use your discretion.
DON’T smoke weed in your car – ANYWHERE in Colorado.
You will get hauled in for a blood test when they smell it in your vehicle and the DUI is just as bad! (public service announcement because we care)
